GREAT BEGINNING! Um, Wed. Oct 25.hannah_salixDecember 18 2007, 04:12:53 UTC
Hannah was running a bit late today, she couldn't help it. She'd just spent a good few hours having a breakdown. Not that Rowan would understand anything like that. So, Hannah had stopped and washed her face in an attempt to clean up.
So now here she was, arriving at her detention. This time, she was rather grateful for the detention from Rowan. It would help to not be around Derek after her crazy breakdown. In fact, she didn't even want to imagine the rest of Quidditch season.
"Sorry I'm late," she said as she walked into the classroom. Merlin only knew what strange punishment Rowan was going to come up with.

Rowan watched Hannah enter the room. The girl didn't seem as... resentful as she normally did.
"There's been a change of plans," Rowan said formally. "I had a few words with your brother and he persuaded me to alter your detentions." She sighed. "You aren't completely let off, but you will have Wednesdays free." Rowan watched waiting for a reaction.

Hannah glanced at Rowan, unsure of what sort of game she was playing. "Gabe persuaded you? What does that mean? You used my detentions to swindle yourself some favour out of him? Gross."
Whoops, Hannah hadn't meant that, really. She was just so used to hating on anyone who showed any sort of interest in her brother.
To cover up that little faux-pas, Hannah leaned against a desk. "So what do I get instead? Every day except Wednesday?"

Rowan did not like Hannah's attitude one bit. Her eyes narrowed. "Do not bite the hand that feeds you, Hannah. I just gave you news that you've been, I'm sure, wanting to hear. Then you insult me?" her tone was sharp. "Do it again and I will retract my previous statement."
Rowan took a deep breath to calm herself. "Be aware, that your brother only talked to me with only your best interests in mind. I told him I'd consider what he asked of me, and I decided for you to have detention on Mondays and Thursdays instead of Wednesdays. Understood?"
