Wow. Three days on pain pills. I feel very out of it. I haven't been able to eat much, which makes the vicodin all the harder to stomach. I'm dizzy and disoriented. I'm still up because I feel sick, and because I slept most of the day. I just threw up ( Read more... )

My dad is sick.
What's going on?

My doctor is so sweet. She actually called me this morning to see how I was doing. What kind of doctor does that?
But... alas, I am breathing again!!! It's fantastic. My lung capacity is still far from normal, but I can lay in bed without struggling for breath. Six pills a day and 3 inhalers later and things are finally improving.

Apparently it's 2008 already.
Time really does fly.

I went to sleep with a cough and woke up with a 100 degree fever. Fucker. And my paper proposal is due tomorrow. I don't know what I'm going to write about, no less what points I'm going to make, and every second I sit up adds loads to my dizziness. Pretty much, life is good. I'm super busy with classes, and only getting busier, but it's a nice feeling to know all the work I'm doing is for something I love. My new roomate, Amber, is super nice, but just as busy, if not busier, than I am. She's a grad student studying linguistics and works at a speach therapy clinic.
