Week 22 - Library

Gregoriana pushed open the door to the library quietly heading for a table where she pulls out her history book and starts to take notes. EVery time the door opens, someone coughs, drops a book, the young sluagh looks up from her work. Despite that she looks at home in the library, comfortable.

Vincent wanders from the rear stacks, an old volume bound in leather open before him as he walks. He pauses at the end of an aisle to turn a page. Looking up, he sees the younger sluagh continually glancing around at any noise. Easing up behind her, he whispers, "You shouldn't let then distract you, you know."

Gregoriana looks up, muttering in voice that only Vincent could hear, "Better safe that sorry."

"Safe is good. Obvious is not." He sits next to her, his open book before him. "Do not look directly at them. Use, instead, your ears." Vincent lightly turns a page with nary a rustle. "They can be less misleading than one's eyes."

Gregoriana doesn't look directly at Vincent, avoiding him. "Thank you."
