Meteor showers and other things.

So the meteor shower last night was amazing. We went to Point Lookout State park in St. Marys because it's away from civilization and lights and it seemed to be pretty perfect for this kinda thing. We stopped at Wawa on the way up and gotten hot chocolate for him and a caramel steamer for me, he'd gotten some extra blankets for his parents house

AWwww! Thats so sweet!! =) Aren't meteor showers amazing?? When i was in college there was a good one and since I went to school in the middle of nowhere we got up at like 1am and drove about 10 minutes away from campus to watch. Amazing!!

It was absolutely amazing =) I was so excited. I don't know if you've ever been down here but I basically live in the middle of nowhere. When you walk out my front door you can see TONS of stars usually but Point Lookout is like the most southern point in Maryland, and it's a state park so there's like no lights, and very little else out there. I'm so in love with it. It was the perfect place to go since they allow night fishing and don't really ever close it.

Oh thats so awesome!! I haven't been down to souther maryland in a LONG time... and i don't think i've ever been that far south. =) I love living in the middle of nowhere. IT makes me miss college and Frostburg a lot. Different direction, same idea. =)
