I had a meeting today. First piece of work for a week or so. Ok, so it was unpaid, but at least I feel like I'm doing something! I've been working hard and achieving little again, or so it seems. At least the dogs are quieter these days. Sigh.

Arrgh. They are a pain! I'm trying to do a Access Database for the Cadets. Not going well. But then, wine never helped....

I am feeling *so* tired it's untrue. I didn't sleep much until 3am, and then when Sarah's bloody phone beeped - it's loud and annoying - it woke me up completely. I couldn't get back to sleep. I had Air Cadet ideas and database designs buzzing in my head. Grrr!

Not getting anywhere fast today. Started writing an article, but I've been asked to do other stuff. Grr!

Well, wedding invites anyway. Most of them are out of the door this morning. I celebrated my hard work with a haircut. Most of the super-blonde is gone now except for a few bits here and there. I'll let it grow a bit and then get the tips bleached. Yeah!

Today is Cadet Sunday, when we remember the foundation of the Air Cadets way back on the 5th Feb 1941. 211 Squadron's celebration consisted of an Open Day, where parents were invited to attend the Squadron and see what their kids get up to. Note to self: You still can't eat lumpy food, and your stomach is not very big. Do not try to stuff pasta down your throat just yet. It hurts like hell and you nearly pass out with the pain in the gents toilet at Ask in Reading if you do.
