It is hard to know exactly where to start... I haven't journaled online in quite awhile. But I need to write about what's been on my heart and on my mind as of late

Just a guess, but maybe they didn't confront you about it before, because they wanted to give you a chance to deal with it yourself first? I know my dad suspected that my brother was gay for years, before my brother finally came out to him. Dad never even talked to him about his suspicions before that.
I am glad you parents took it so well and I would like to think you friend will too, being a christian means accepting everyone for who they are. Thats what Christ taught us.
Hope you don't mind me commenting here :) I saw that you friended me, so I decided to take a quick look at your journal before friending you back. Seems like we may have some things in common. I'm a recently out of the closet lesbian who enjoys slash a lot. Congrats on coming out to your family. I have told my siblings, but not my parents yet. If you ever want to talk, feel free to send me a message :)

Maybe they are still trying to accept the idea... who knows?
All I know is I feel the need to talk to them more about it, because it isn't simple, cut and dry.

I think I will tell her the next time I see her in person, it's not the type of conversation you have over the phone, that much is for sure.
((((((((((HUGS))))))))))
Thank you for your understanding.

As for your 'friend', if they are a real friend, they'll accept you - religion or not.

I'm planning on telling her sometime today. In person. That way if she gets upset, she can't hang up the phone on me.

I really do enjoy your writing. I write a little myself, but sometimes it's just crap for my own enjoyment rather than for others.
Thank you. It was rather a long process, but eventually I came out.
Talking is great! I didn't expect to be friended back, so this is awesome!
