Why did you choose to become a teacher? If you were asked to do any other job, what do you think it would be?

Hmmm.

Honestly, I got my degree and then looked at what I had studied and realized I didn't know what else to do with it. I mean, what else DO you do with a history degree?

If I had to do anything else, I know what I could NOT do. I can't work retail, I can't sell things, I can't work in a kitchen/restaurant, I can't do politics, I can't do lab or library research. I'd probably be a writer or an editor or a prereader for books.
