I believe the other comment was 'if we stopped spending millions of dollars to find out if sophmores could get into school, instead of the parents just trusting that the teachers might know that a kid isn't college material, maybe the state of california wouldn't have laid off so many teachers last week."
My parents are just happy the kid is in school and might graduate.
The frustration for us is that there are about 25% of our kids that need Universities. 35% will need JC's and the rest.....will eventually figure out what they want in life.

They won't let us. We're suppose to push them all. And be honest, they tune out.
