Next time I think I do not have a friend in the world and I am feeling my worst, I will look at all of the responses to the post about my grandma's death. That proves I do have people that give a damn whether I live or die.

I can't tell you how much it helped having my LJ friends list when I was diagnosed with my tumor and preparing for my surgery. When you know you're not alone, it makes harder things easier. We're not alone.

Thank god for real people that actually care. It seems rare at this day and age in so many ways. Some people find it hard to believe that you can find friends on the internet....for me it has been a staple for the last 12 years of my life...I dunno how I ever survived without.
