I'm going to disclaim myself by saying I'm not the biggest Panic fan out there. By a long, long shot. But I do love their adorable little faces and, of course, their music. There was a time when I was much more into them than I am now. Probably from reading passe_simple's spy fic/her Forever, Now universe fics. Nonetheless.
I think New Perspective is more like a continuation of the first album. More so than the second. Which I like, I preferred the majority of Fever You Can't Sweat Out to Pretty. Odd. I'm very, very pleased with it. It also has a bit of growth, which is nice.

As for Change. I don't actually like it. It's very Beatles/Doors sounding, and I don't like most bands from that time period. I mean, the quality is good, and I respect all that, but it's just not my thing ( ... )

Like I said, I think "New Perspective" sounds alot like "That Green Gentleman" It could be the lyrics or the overall sound, byt that's the song I think of when I hear it. I do, however, hear the Fever inspo in it, and I appreciate ( ... )

Yeah, the whole song in general just put me off. I didn't much listen to the lyrics, but I think that says something in and of itself.

Did he seriously? Pete Wentz is a douchebag sometimes. I remember I hated FOB for a long, long, time because of him. Then I realized there were other people in the band. Then I fell in love with him a little bit. But seriously. After all the Ryan love? Jesus. I think it's kinda stupid people still take him seriously, though. Like, just because Pete Wentz says it, doesn't mean that's what people need to think. I try to stay mostly neutral.

I know. I think it's admirable that they were mature enough to do it that way, and not get in a big fight (as far as we know). I kind of feel bad for Ryan and Jon. They're totally getting the short end of the stick right now. But. That's the way it goes.
Ahhh babies! D:

Yeah, Pete's doucheyness made me hate them too, but frankly, I ignore him most of the time in favor of Patrick. I'm just surprised he can actually choose sides. Like after all he's been through with them he can say "I love them, I hate them". It's like a mother choosing which of her kids she liked better.

I'm glad they kept any drama they may or may not have to themselves. It'a very big of them. ANd now they're making Ry and Jon out to be monsters and it's just not true! It hurts. :/
