I do find Livejournal 'sluggish' and unpredictable so often these days; anybody else have this problem? Often I have trouble when I want to post photos, too. What should be quick and happy communications wind up being hard work, because letters fail to type and need constant re-working, not even fixing the first (or second, or third!) times I ( Read more... )

LJ is poorly run, even if it is a challenging platform. It doesn't help of course that it comes under freqeunt political attacks due to its now heavily Russian subsidies.

I see; I didn't know about Russian subsidies. I must admit - I never used to have such problems.

I've discovered that if I use the HTML option instead of visual editor, the glitchy things don't glitch.

LJ has been in a slow motion collapse for over a year (or perhaps longer) now which is why I base on DW and x post from there, coming here only to comment.

It's an LJ style blogsite which looks and behaves like LJ used to before they tried to be facebookski.

You can set up a free account (no ads) there and do an easy transfer of your stuff here for back up and they also allow you to x post entries to LJ.

thanks for this; we do use Norton - and I think our Old Uncle is worth the struggle, too, - even if I get a bit annoyed with him, sometimes!
