That's true - old books are our soul friends, I think. And - a really good question! I suspect that the trick in this exercise is to make every new or re-discovered recipe a thing of pleasure. So I don't know; I'll see how it unravels. But tonight I will cook a prawn risotto, which I haven't for a long time. xx
If I make the non vegan way, I always feed the stock in and stir constantly a little like scrambled eggs, and take the pan off and stir butter and parmesan in very aggressively and leave the lid on for about two minutes to give it the right texture and supreme creaminess. Done right it's a delicious art form. Hope you enjoy yourself.
Thank you so much. I've had a lot of serious stress, but I now also know that it (expecting the next disaster!) has become a bad mental habit and therefore something I can break, if I really, really work at it. xx
