Six fucking weeks for them to decide whether or not I get unemployment. I'm applying left and right. I had to tell Kyle yesterday that I can't make the mortgage. I'm overdrawn and they've halted my over-draft protection (thus my bank account) because I can't make the payments on it ( Read more... )

Not kidding. Wish I were. They even made me REAPPLY after going to all the rigamarole, the phone calls, the forms, etc. They said my fucking claim expired. WTF? I reapplied and they had me fill out all the same forms. Still waiting on the phone call, but I hope this time it gives my ex-boss the opportunity to NOT LIE to them and let it go through. I'm completely financially fucked right now. And I'm pregnant.

Hell! That does suck. The unemployment dude called me Friday asking about something. He said, "This account is getting old," coz it's been over a month. I suspect that my may expire as well. I hope not. I'm really screwed, too, but not pregnant. But I paid for a $700 IUD last year on my credit card. I'm rolling around with A SHITTON of debt.

Are you on medicare? Food stamps?
