Thanks, J! I am talking to one of the owners now about maybe joining him *into* into the convention (coz he's going), which would be cool for me if he's paying! haha. He would appreciate that forward. They are really good people. And I don't think that of most.

I grew up 30 minutes from Detroit and have been to many Irish pubs. Was a member of the Irish-Gaelic League 100 years ago...

I think that Wally (one owner) is starting to understand the networking idea. His lady friended all of the FB people at the Claughdah Irish Pub in town. Then have more authentic food (lamb) but this place is in the middle of about five art galleries.

And he seems to be reseptive to my suggestions. He actually suggested taking me INTO the GENCON for advertisment.

Thank you, Jen, for your ideas and PLEASE keep them coming. If I knew when you may be in Michigan (Detroit area... Troy) then maybe I'll come up there. My sister lives in Detroit and I have friends up there asking me to visit. Before I land a real job...

Congrats, Joey! I wish I would have saved all my schoolgirly kit for you, but as soon as I became too zaftig for it, I donated it. I collected plaid skirts for years! :-D

I'm glad it turned out the early issues were non-issues.

Hey, I'd send you a card, but I used to send stuff to the city office and I don't think that'd work.

In any case, I'll jump in early and say happy 8 and a half!
