One of my aunts passed away yesterday.

A friend is getting surgery done next month.

Kagome: The latest in my disappointments with Inuyasha became apparent a few moments ago. It seems that, so long as I'm around, all I'm good for is backup. Backup shard detector, backup friend, backup everything. Apparently I'm not good enough for an entire day of shard-hunting throughout the Feudal Japan countryside. I only get scraps now.
