In other news, last night was a lot of fun. We went traipsing over a significant portion of northeast Texas looking for a dark enough spot to do good stargazing. Finally found a spot and hung out for a while. I saw 1 shooting star! Driving was half the fun, though. :) Today, though, is Sunday and the end of yet another weekend. :( These things go too goddamned quickly. Next weekend will see me in Austin to hang out with Dad for fathers' day, and I'm not sure about the weekend after that. Then, suddenly, it will be July. This year is going too quickly also. :/ Have tentative Fourth of July plans set out to spend that weekend in Houston. What we actually end up doing depends heavily on what Peri ends up doing. Yeah, I'm pathetic, I freely admit it. :p

I checked out my application status for grad school. It's being prepped for "department review." I did discover that my 2 C's DO count for credit toward my degree. Just gotta not get any more of THOSE. I hate C's.. for me, they're bad grades. The good thing is that this means I have 6 hours toward my 36-hour degree requirement. Still going to take an eternity, but not as much of one. :) I think I'm going to take Principles of Optimization this fall. Just start out with one class and see if I can handle that and work at the same time.
