If it makes you feel any better, I waited for the person I took the meme from to be completely done with all 30 days before starting it for myself. (I didn't want to have biased answers.)
Jane is one of my favorite of the more current leading ladies in a Disney movie. Her gift for rambling was indeed amusing. (I love how she slaps together what happened to her when she was drawing the baby baboon up until Tarzan rescues her, leaving her poor father and Clayton totally confused on whether she's telling a true story or not!) How did she sound in Italian, anyway? One of these days I need to track down Disney characters and how they sound in different languages.
(The France animation studio was indeed good. I'm still sad all of the overseas Disney animation studios were shut down. I can only hope those talented artists were able to find good jobs elsewhere.)
jane is cool. She is nevrotic, but is also incredibly sweet. The scene where Tarzan brings her to the birds' nest still makes me melt. Uhm, she had an ok dubber, nothing worth noticing anyway. She usually dubs Gwyneth Paltrow and Milla Jovovich.
But the weird (and good!) thing about the Tarzan movie was that ALL the songs in EVERY language were sung by Phil Collins. Collins sounds very very metallic, but his pronounciation is good ^_^
I love the scene when Tarzan takes Jane to all of the parrots! As an artist myself, I find it incredibly sweet and trusting for Tarzan to take Jane to where she can get the best artistic references, not to mention feathery interactions with the bird she had been trying to draw. (I can completely relate to Jane on the artistic level in trying to sketch an animal, only for it to leave before I'm done. Frustrating!)
Oh cool, I hadn't known that! Phil Collins has the unfair advantage of being European, but still, that's really great that he made it a point to sing all of the different languages. Heck, if anything, it was good practice for when he wrote the music for Brother Bear and put a song into the native Inuit language.
Totally agree. I love Jane, she would be one of my favorite female Disney characters. Plus, hey, you have to give the girl points for willingly going to explore the jungle. Not a lot of people would be up for that. ^_^

I haven't seen a 30-day meme yet that I really cared about, but...I might do this one.
