This weekend my mom and I drove down to San Fransisco to catch a flight out to Salt Lake City to check out Northface University. It is everything I had thought it would be and I am moving to Utah in a month to go to school there. Really, I'm not. But I may have been last night. I just had a party at my house which didn't really get going till around midnight, and at that point I was already sloshed. I ended up being probably the drunkest person at the party, and passing out in my bed before people even left. That is sad, the host passes out before everyone is gone. ( Read more... )

I just got home from an after-show circus party at which there were a bunch of fire spinners from out of the area who are here for the Juggling Festival this weekend. I learned some great new tricks with my rope dart (leg wraps, arm wraps, neck wraps, send out, send back), some new poi tricks, and some staff movement mechanics as well. Tomorrow ( Read more... )

I went to the beach with Paul and managed to get a nice burn on my upper back, shoulders, and neck. We originally had planned on just going to a cave thats on the far side of a big rock out in the ocean (accessible at low tide), but then a few waves came in and we decided to go swimming instead (as if we had a choice at that point). I really want to get into shape, and now that I no longer have classes, and I have two months before moving, I have the time to do it. I decided that swimming would be fun, so I went to the pool and discovered that in the two years since I have gone swimming last my muscles have forgotten how. Quick relearning necessary. YAY! Finally I actually took my old car to a shop to get it fixed instead of trying to fix it myself. Now I found out that the stator voltage (?? what the hell is that ??) is too high from my alternator, so .5 volts to low was going to my starter, causing it not to start. Now there is a bypass switch and it starts EVERY time I turn the switch, ( Read more... )

I am quite a bit happier than I was last time I updated this. I am feeling strange too, but really a lot happier. I have gotten a lot of work done since then and I have also managed to get a decent amount of sleep. That may have something to do with it ( Read more... )
