Discontent...such a familiar word to me. I hope your search for satisfaction and contentment is quicker than mine.

I wish I could show you a beautiful spot I've found here- a small distance from the city, overlooks the lake onto the city...a miraculous sight at sunset.

Watch the movie 21 Grams if you haven't already...it's pretty intense. And if you have time (which I know you don't!) read the book House of Leaves by Mark Danelewski- fascinating.

I've seen 21 Grams; not exactly an uplifting film (but well done). I liked it when I saw it in the theatre, but I pretty much decided that I really didn't ever have to see it again afterwards.

In other news, I randomly ran into Drew Thomas downtown (he was walking back to his place and I was trying to hail a cab). We ended up going back to his place and hanging out for about an hour while we waited for a cab to come pick us up there. We now have an agreement to hang out again sometime in the future (he thought it might be a little weird to call me as well, but had considered doing so on several occassions). Kinda funny how that works out sometimes.
