Yea, I really dig this album. They're coming to MPLS at the end of the month (I think) and I'm somewhat inclined to head out to First Ave to see them. I've had this and the new one by The Stills on heavy rotation all week. There's just something about Brit-Pop that is really clicking with me right now.

Did you know the drummer for the Stills wrote all the songs? That just seems weird. He's playing guitar and singing most of the new songs now....

I think you need to be the one to call her first... you're the guy in this relationship and if you're really that into her, you'd be the one to call... just some helpful advice from a fellow female :)

Well, that's a very un-progressive way of looking at things... Being the adults that we are in the age that we live in , I think that she would be fully capable of making the same advances that have been historically relegated to the male gender of our species. There's that, and then the fact that she's going on vacation for a week... I think that puts any sense of obligation to reciprocate on her shoulders seeing as how I'll just be hanging out around here for the time being.

If you don't mind my asking, who are you "mystery female poster?"

Definitely agree with your progressive thinking! Let her make the next move (unless she made the first move, in which case things may switch up a little...)

Coincidentally, I have my first real date in a few years tonight! We'll see how it goes!

Very interesting that you ran into Drew- how the hell is he anyway? I haven't talked to him in months! Glad your "man crushes" on each other can finally have some continuity! CALL HIM AGAIN!

And a final thought in response to: "It's unfortunate, but I already feel myself getting ready to run. Why? I don't know..."- maybe when it's the right person, that feeling won't be there...who knows?
