I'm no artist - all I can draw is flowers, and barely that. But I wanted to make you something, and...I hope it's okay. And, I hope, someday I'll be able to give it to you for real.
To one of my best friends, on her birthday;
I hope that today gives you plenty of reasons to smile. That's what I hope for the most - that even though I can't be there with you, you know that I'm hoping you're happy, today and every day.
That's what you need, and what you deserve, because you're a wonderful person - don't ever forget that. I'm so lucky to have you as a friend, and I hope that our friendship lasts for a long time to come.
