Pretty nice! Also, having an SD slot means that when larger sizes of HCSD inevitably become more affordable, you can expand the storage capacity even further.

I just got one of the new Zens - the 4GB version is $129, so it's not quite as good a deal, but it also takes HCSD cards, and the larger screen size is definitely a bonus. I'm pretty happy with it so far.

I considered buying a Zen (my brother has a 60GB or 80GB Zen), but I read that the smaller ones use hard drives... Does the new one use flash memory?

Yep, the new zens are all flash memory. 4, 8, and 16 GB versions.

Me too. I bought a 2GB Nano last month for my long trip (3,855 miles) for $90.

Heh. That's funny. I just so happened to wear my iPod Nano shirt today. I feel like such a tard.

I have a 1GB shuffle our company gave us last year as gifts, and I'm holding out for one of those ridiculously large iPods so I can store the collection I've got here at work (~25GB at the moment) on it.
