My FWA plans canceled.
I have to cancel my FWA plans due to personal family reasons.
I've been helping out my dad at his office since December. On Sunday, he went into the hospital because he'd forgotten to take some of his pills, and as a result he had an excess of fluid in his lungs due to his longtime congestive heart failure.
They're working physical therapy with him to get him to move his legs without his heart rate spiking after 20 feet, but it's a lot of habits he needs to break to get better.
He won't be able to come into the office for at least two weeks, which means I'm needed to answer the phones and fill orders for the correspondence course.
In truth, my stepmom would talk me out of driving more than twenty minutes away, but leaving for a week would just be unfair to her and to my 79 year old dad.
