I assured him that there'd be no lull in productivity since he has the internet at home.
It was the goal I was hoping to reach ever since I drove down to the Tampa ( Read more... )

I can sympathize, my grandparents have been adjusting to changes in their lives over the last few years and they're stubborn as a mule. I hope things continue to go smoothly for you and your father.

Now I can't help thinking about what Roxi as a real estate agent would look like...

I was thinking about that realtor's license for the exact purpose (even though there are a bajillion out there already). But I know more about Fannie Mae HomePath Loans more than anyone else! Got my house via that way and NO ONE knew about the process, not even the fannie mae homepath loan officer. It was a learning experience for us all.

The realtor I was was a fiery latino woman. She nearly decked another realtor who barged into a house we were touring. The other realtor brought her clients and swearing/ yelling ensued. A cat fight broke out! It was amazing.

I've mostly been working with people getting their Community Association Manager's license, as my Dad puts out a correspondence course for it. But in three months, three of Dad's active realtors came to the office to give Dad a percentage of their home sale commissions. They have a lot of respect for him even though he's not focusing on realty right now.

It sounds like you had a cool realtor gal. I lucked out with realtors in the past and it really didn't seem like an impossible job.
