Generation 5 Sibling Updates: Kate & Kylie
Author's Note: Hello and welcome back to the Richmond Legacy! This chapter we have our last look at the lovely twins' lives - it's already time for the Generation 5 sibling updates! Not much more to say here, except that this one is really LONG... Read on and enjoy :)
Generation 5 Sibling Updates: Kate & Kylie

Before I start the point of view thing - Sydney mastered the cooking skill!
Sydney: "I rule."
I followed the girls as they drove to their new home - turns out they didn't have far to go! They got the empty mansion near the edge of the rich people neighborhood :D I love the 'kick out' option, didn't have to pay a single simoleon!
Reina: "I'm all alone, there's no one heeere besiiiide me... My problems have all gone, there's no one toooo deriiiiide meee! ... But you gotta have friends...!"

Alrighty, beginning now, this is in Kate's POV :D
Kylie and I stood silently together on the front lawn of our new house. We could both hardly believe we'd gotten this huge house for our very first new home. I guess it pays having rich parents.
Our first day passed uneventfully. Neither of our cell phones were working, so Kylie couldn't call her high school friend Aiden, whom she'd been meaning to invite over for some time. For my part, I just needed to relax and get used to living in a big house with no parents, aunt, sister, brother-in-law, and nephew crowding up the place. At least I still had Kylie though - I wasn't sure I'd stay sane without my twin.
The next morning I headed into town for some groceries. At home - I mean, at my parents' house - we always had fruits and vegetables from the garden in our fridge, but here, we were desperately in need of some groceries.
As I stepped out of the cab I noticed a man sitting on a bench outside the supermarket. He had blond hair, though darker than mine, and blue eyes. There was nothing remarkable about his appearance, but somehow I found myself drawn over to him.
"Hi, I'm Kate, Kate Richmond," I introduced myself.
"Carlos," he replied. "I just moved here."
"Oh, cool!" I said, "I was wondering why I hadn't seen you before."
I soon found myself explaining my whole situation. How I lived with my sister in a huge mansion but without a penny to my name. How we had just moved out of our parents' house and were looking to start our own lives.
He was an excellent listener and really seemed to care about what I was telling him.
-- Random interjection: isn't this guy scary?? --
I soon invited him over, thinking we could get to know each other better at my house.
"Wow," he said as he climbed the steps, "you really do have a big house!"
"Don't let it fool you," I said, "we're completely broke at the moment."
What I didn't know is that my sister had been busy that day as well. She'd gone to visit her friend Aiden (our phones still weren't working), because it was his birthday and she wanted to throw him a party.
So when Carlos and I walked in, we found the other two celebrating as Aiden became the same age as the rest of us.
Although he was still bald - and I still had no idea why - he turned out pretty handsome, although Kylie would kill me if she heard me say that. She's had a crush on him for ages.

Sure enough, Kylie was soon hugging her friend. "Happy birthday Aiden!"
"Thanks," he said with a laugh. "Thanks for the party, too. I don't think my mom could afford - I mean she didn't -"
"Anytime," Kylie said easily, interrupting his embarrassed mumbling.
"You know," Kylie said. "I've always liked you Aiden."
"As friends? Yeah, I've always liked -"
"No silly," said Kylie. "I mean, I've always liked you liked you."
Aiden blushed. "I feel the same way..."
Inspired by my sister, I began flirting with Carlos.
We may not have known each other as long as Kylie and Aiden had, but we couldn't deny that there was something there.
"You're a one of a kind girl, Kate," Carlos told me quietly.
I grinned and blushed, but said nothing back. I hoped he could tell how I felt because I was speechless!
While that was happening, Kylie was experiencing her very first kiss with Aiden!
"Wow, that was great," Aiden said.
"Yeah," Kylie said breathlessly.
Carlos and I weren't too far behind.
Although we were in the same room, Kylie and I were in our own little worlds and barely noticed the circumstances of each other. Quite similar though they were.
Kylie was asking Aiden to be her boyfriend.
Aiden wordlessly agreed.
"Well, while I'm at it," Kylie said.
"What...?"
"Aiden Green..." Kylie began, reaching for the ring she'd hidden in her pocket.
"Kylie, what are you...?"
"I've had the hugest crush on you since high school. You've been my best friend through all the hard times and all the good ones. Even though you're dorky and bald, Aiden Green, will you marry me?"
Aiden was shocked. But in a good way.
"Yes! Yes! Yes! Oh, Kylie, yes!!"
They were married on the spot.
Not to be outdone, I had a question or two of my own to ask Carlos.
"Carlos, I know we haven't known each other long, but I really like you, and I was wondering if you'd be my boyf -"
He kissed me before I could finish the word.
Soon I was proposing just like Kylie had.
"I love you Carlos."
"I love you too Kate."
We had a quiet ceremony in the kitchen as well. I didn't want to wait another minute.
I wanted to be doing what my sister was doing, if you want the honest truth.
"I love you Kylie."
"I love you too Aiden."
And soon enough I was.
After the weddings (and other activities), all four of us headed out to get jobs. We figured it was time to start taking responsibility for the huge house we lived in.
I started my dream career in the Journalism business, although for now I was a lowly papergirl.
Carlos became a Playground Monitor at the school, ready to work his way up to teaching.
My sister followed our mom's footsteps and joined the workforce at the Bistro.
While Aiden became the newest worker at City Hall.
He also got a bit of a makeover - he really needed some hair.
In case you guys are wondering, Aiden's traits are Neurotic, Absent-Minded, Virtuoso, Evil, and Artistic. His LTW is to be Master of the Arts.
Carlos's traits are Loves the Outdoors, Disciplined, Neat, Hot-Headed, and Coward, and he wants to be a Martial Arts Master.
The next morning I felt absolutely awful, and I woke up twice in the early morning to throw up.
My sister seemed not to be doing any better than I was, so we watched TV together while our husbands cooked breakfast.
Neither of us mentioned our sickness. Instead we talked about the ridiculous cartoons we were watching - we couldn't believe we'd enjoyed this stuff as children.
"Whoever came up with this storyline should be apologizing to their boss," Kylie said.
"Oh, I don't know! This is pretty suspenseful."
"You can't seriously think this is interesting," Kylie said with a smirk.
"That's it. You're off your rocker."
Right after that Kylie jumped up from the couch, looking pale, and rushed to the bathroom.
"Seriously, of all the toilets in the house, the closest one has to be the most disgusting, doesn't -"
"Ughhh..."
Carlos spent his weekend training with the new martial arts dummy we'd bought. He wanted to be a Martial Arts Master after all.
Later that morning my sister and I ate brunch together. I decided to bring up the sickness we'd both been feeling.
"So you got it too?" Kylie asked with concern.
"Yeah, it sucks."
"I wonder what it is?" Kylie asked. "Maybe the boys poisoned our dinner last night, you think?"
I laughed. "We JUST got married. Hopefully they're not already set on killing us... They could at least wait a week or so!"
Okay I have to go back to normal legacy narrator voice for a minute... Just to note that everyone seemed to enjoy cooking on the bathroom counter..... **Note to self: Put a whole bunch of crap on these counters**
Mission accomplished.
We now resume your regular Kate's POV programming.
One night Carlos and I were having a sweet conversation when he suddenly got quiet.
"Hey Katie?"
"Yeah?"
He kissed me softly. "I love you."
I smiled. "Aww. I love you too."
While that was happening, Kylie had left work to discover she was pregnant! She was granted maternity leave and rushed straight home to share the news.
And minutes later, I discovered that I was pregnant too! Well, that would explain the sickness...
I couldn't wait to tell Carlos!
"Honey, I just found out - I'm pregnant!!"
He looked surprised at first...
But he was really excited.
Meanwhile, Kylie was telling Aiden.
"So, I'm not sure how to spit this out.."
"I'm pregnant."
"Oh my God! Really?"
"Sweet!!!"
"Kylie, you too?" I asked excitedly.
"What? You're pregnant too?!"
"Yeah! Yay! Our babies can be like us - twins! Almost."
Just had to add this in, I know I'm going for the dramatic voice here but these sims crack me up too much not to share with you all.. Aiden's awesome XD
My sister and I were both Neurotic, but honestly, she was way worse about the tooth-brushing thing. She'd brush her teeth three times EVERY NIGHT. At least I only did that every once in awhile...
And with pregnancy, I was more into stuffing my face with ice cream and the like.
Carlos was very excited to be a daddy. He was always wanting to listen to my tummy, even when I knew the baby wasn't quite grown enough to be making any noise.
Funds were tight, so my sister and I did our part to eat fruit rather than expensive meals whenever we could.
I liked apples, but Kylie preferred watermelons.
And we spent hours in front of the TV, trying to relax.
The boys were great, doing a lot of the household chores for us...
And always taking the time to pamper us and talk to the babies.
Kylie pretended she didn't like the attention, but I know she did.
"So Kylie," said Aiden. "Even though your aching back makes me Fiendishly Delighted, would you care for a massage?"
"He is the sweetest husband ever!" Kylie sighed.
Fingers crossed for one of those beautiful eyes on the baby!
"You give up so much for me," Kylie said happily.
"Only because I love you," he replied, pulling her into an embrace and a kiss.
Despite being heavily pregnant, my crazy sister decided to try working out to keep herself busy.
Meanwhile I turned to writing. I'd always loved writing stories and quickly picked up a Sci-Fi story I'd started years ago in high school.
And I continued being pampered by Carlos.
"I can't believe there's a baby in there!" he exclaimed.
"I know, crazy right?"
"How soon until you're due again?"
"Any day now," I replied, trying to keep the nerves from my voice. I wasn't sure my neurotic side could handle that much stress.
OMG 3 out of 4 people eating at once?! It's a miracle! lol just had to share...
The next morning my sister and I spent yet more time in front of the TV. Neither of us could hide our excitement - today was the day we were both due!
Kylie's came first, while she was making dinner.
"OH SHIT! HOLY CRAP OW!!!! KAAAATTEEEE!!!" she screamed.
Just as I was getting up from my writing to see what was wrong, it happened to me as well!
"OH GOD OH GOD OH GOD OUCH!!!!! KYYYLLIIIIEEE!!!"
Kylie, despite her pain, attempted to come help me - she'd always been my protecting older sister - but was stopped in the hallway by her husband's screaming and the unbearable pain.
"Oh God I can't handle this holy God Kylie you're giving birth!!! Somebody heeeellpp!!!!!"
"Aiden, calm down," Kylie scoffed.
I came the rest of the way towards Kylie so we could suffer together.
Attack of the twins in labor!
"Oh God, this hurts like HELL!" I screeched.
"You're telling ME?!"
"Seriously?" I asked. "Aiden's seriously playing the guitar."
"Maybe he thinks it'll help us? Don't ask me!" Kylie exclaimed.
Finally that time came! Our babies were finally on their way! Kylie's came first.
She gave birth to a girl she named Ellie, after her mother in law.
Ellie rolled Absent-Minded and Grumpy for her traits.
Then it was my turn!
I had the little boy I'd been wishing for!
I named him Ben, and he rolled Excitable and Neurotic.
(BTW I named him after my friend Ben and those traits completely fit him XD)
"Something feels funny...." Kylie said.
"You too?!"
"I think we're both having twins!"
We hurried upstairs to set Ben,
and Ellie in their cribs,
then went into labor again!
I had another boy!
And Kylie had another girl!
Mine is Austin, and he's Grumpy and a Slob. (Joy...)
Kylie's is Alyssa, who rolled Insane and Easily Impressed.
The next morning all the kids became toddlers.
Ben.
Austin.
Ellie.
Alyssa.
...
...
EYES <3
Actually they ALL have great eyes! And ALL blonde? Really?! Not even ONE got Aiden's hair :'(
The boys <3 Ben's in grey, Austin's in blue. I LOVE Ben's face :3
Aww now they're both making that face! <3
The girls <3 I loooove Ellie's eyes! They are the same eyes her grandmother and namesake has! How cool is that?!
Meanwhile little Alyssa is a Sydney clone!! That's where the blond comes from if you were wondering. :) (Well except Ben's, which is the same color blond as Carlos has.)

Well, that's all I've got for you! I shouldn't even say that - this was ridiculously long! 133 images, to be exact. Whew! Well, I hope you enjoyed it! What did you think of the writing style? It was hard, let me tell you - I just love making fun of my sims too much, and you don't really get to do that writing like this. Anyway! I hope you liked it! Tell me what you think of the style, of the babies, anything! Next chapter, of the main family, is all ready, just gotta find the time to write it!
