Author's Note: Hellooooo, my wonderful readers, and welcome to a VERY special episode of the Richmond legacy! Today, we will go back through seven long generations and explore the wonderful simmies who have made up this legacy for one whole year! For those of you who didn't get a chance to read the first few generations on TS3.com, this will be especially nice for you :) I hope you enjoy!! It's LONG, I will warn you now :P That's why it wasn't out yesterday... I spent the whole afternoon finding and uploading pictures!
The Richmond Legacy: Anniversary Special
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
In the beginning there was Charlie, our founder. I loved this Sim.
Wasn't he adorable?
He briefly married this woman, Dorothy DeMayo, but their marriage lasted only long enough for Charlie to have his first and only child...
Joey.
Joey was adorable, just like his father :3
Joey married this cutie, Melanie. (Before Sydney, this was the last time I had a good cook in the family XD).
...
They were very cute together.
Clearly.
Joey, obviously, became the heir of generation 1...
He and Mel produced four children for generation two: the oldest, Britta...
Honestly, I didn't like her. And I always love my Simmies.
Then there were our first and only set of triplets!
Holly...
Hayla...
...
And Clare.
...
And finally, Chase, the baby.
The insane baby XD
Lol, look at Hayla's face in this picture! XD
Cute sibling moment :3
Chase became the heir of generation 2...
...and married this lovely woman.
Liza.
She was insane, just like her husband. Liza is tied with Jay as my favorite spouse ever, I have to admit.
These two had a whopping six kids together! The oldest, Seth...
...
Next, Travis...
...
He was THIS close to being heir. He was my favorite of the boys of this generation <3
Then Bo, the adorable loser who is named after my cat XD
...
Tony, the somewhat boring fourth kid and oldest of a set of twins...
Also named after my cat...
Lol :P
And Cole, his evil twin!
He was cute too :3
...
I love having twins. They provide so many wonderful photo opps.
And last but not least was the baby of the family and only girl (with five big brothers, ouch), Hope!
She yelled at small children....
And only sang when she thought no one was watching.
One of my favorite sims ever.
Hence the pic spam :P
Hope did become heiress of generation 3...
And married this guy, Jay! (Tied for my favorite spouse ever, if you forgot.)
He was adorable.
He was a musician.. Sometimes had trouble with his weight.. But it only made him cuter.
...
XD
He and Hope were a seriously cute couple throughout their lives.
...
I forgot how cute he was as a younger guy. He was honestly the cutest old man I've ever seen though.
... <3
Hope and Jay had four children together: Annette, the oldest...
...
...
Then Billy, the lonely boy...
Named after a boy on my street in fifth grade who has leukemia. I believe he's doing better lately :)
...
...
Then, the first of a set of twins, Brooklyn! Named after the part of New York City :P
...
And the younger (and a tiny bit prettier, sorry Brook) twin, Rayleigh!
Rayleigh is a type of earthquake wave, but I think it makes a fantastic name.
One of the prettiest Sims of my legacy, I do believe.
Once again. Twins. Photo opps. I love them.
Then, there was this guy. Tad Higginbotham.
Hope cheated on Jay with Tad, and produced none other than...
These two! Our favorite twins, Julianna and Sydney.
More favorite sims ever.
Sydney is the mystery blond with the green eyes that came all the way from our founder.
Julianna is the redhead (her hair came from her grandmother, Liza, actually) with those mysterious golden eyes that must be from Tad.
Former userpic :)
...
Twins. Nuff said.
Fortunately, Hope and Jay made up, and stayed the cutest couple of the legacy until their dying days.
Sydney became the heiress of generation 4 after our very first heir poll.
She looks GORGEOUS in the moonlight.
She married this guy, Santos (a.k.a. Ozzie)!
I love the hot-headed trait XD
They had many differences (Ozzie originally had the Dislikes Children trait :\) but they were always able to overcome them.
Together Ozzie and Sydney had three adorable girls.
Reina <3
XD
...
...
..
Kate (the younger one of a set of twins, sorry I put her first :S)...
She'd always been a bit of a loon XD
And Kylie! Kate's slightly older twin.
...
...
Twins. Yes. We know.
They're just so cute though!
Kylie was evil, and Kate might as well have been good :P
Reina became heiress of generation 5...
And married this cutie, Gabriel Tolkey Richmond! The product of our very first spouse submissions :)
Gabe is originally from the Tolkey legacy... Which is suspended until further notice :'(
I'm so glad to have him in my game though <3
Both Reina...
And Gabe himself were in love with Gabriel XD
They had three kids together: The much-loved Miles....
...
...
The equally sexy Casey...
...
XD
They're cute brothers :3
And the beautiful Cameron!
<3
...
And that is where we are as of this point! Miles is the heir, but I won't put another picture of him in because that would just be redundant.
Want to see the Richmonds' houses over the generations?
Sadly, I do not have a picture of Charlie's original camp on the lawn. I barely have any pictures from generation 1 :'( However, this is the first 'official' house of the family -- our first roof :')! This is the house where little Joey was raised. This house was modified and added onto many times, before I finally decided to make...
Version two! This is where Grandpa Charlie lived with Joey and wife Mel, and their baby daughters Britta, Holly, Hayla, and Clare.
When Chase was born I finally upgraded to version 3, since the other one had only 4 bedrooms. Semi-hard to see because of the dramatic triplets standing in front, but who's complaining? :P
When Chase had grown up and started a family (a huuuuge family), I upgraded to version 4. I loved this house <3 This is where Seth, Travis, Bo, Tony, Cole, and Hope were raised. In fact, this is also where Annette, Billy, Brooklyn, Rayleigh, Julianna, and Sydney lived their youth as well! This house lasted me the longest of any house so far.
When Sydney was preparing to start her own family with Ozzie, yet another house was built, version 5! Getting bigger and bigger, aren't we? This house was by far my favorite, but sadly, it was completely lost in the crash, and just *barely* lasted me one generation. Reina, Kate, and Kylie grew up here.
Finally, we have version 6, the current legacy house! Built by none other than the amazing
itzstacie :) I love this house too! It's enormously huge, and the yard is way better than anything I could ever accomplish on my own. (See previous yards XP). This is where Miles, Casey, and Cameron were raised, oh so long ago :')
And now, to overdo it...
What's so special about the Richmonds?
Our kickass artists...
*sigh* How I miss those paintings... :'(
Our painfully cute kids...
<3
Our excessive amounts of multiples...
Our notorious mad scientists...
...
...
Our AUTO WATER SPRINKLERS, of course...
Cute mother-daughter bonding...
And sweet sibling relationships...
<3
... oh, and not-so-sweet sibling relationships, too.
There's always that daredevilish sim...
... and then there's the downright insane...
...
We may feed our toddlers drugged milk...
and teach them questionable things...
but at least they wear cute outfits! ... Right? :P
They may make some bad decisions...
But in the end they always find a way to make a change for the better in themselves.
They have the most adorable old men out there...
... Just sayin'.
Not to mention some stunningly gorgeous lady sims as well :)
I just put this in because I forgot how much I loved the kitchen of this house...
There are times when they are failures...
(Can you believe Sydney was a bad cook?! :O)
But in the end, they succeed.
Sometimes they have different ideas of success and failure...
And we've never been big on formality...
...obviously...
And a lot of times they just downright don't make sense.
They have a wide range of maturity levels...
And sometimes their emotions get the best of them...
Unless they're boys, then it's just their testosterone...
There are definitely some very cute moments...
... though at times they are ruined by impatient little sisters xD
And there is despair, but for every incident of it...
... there are two more of joy...
... and love.
They're not what you'd call "normal"...
... or "sane"...
But that surely makes things interesting...
... and there are always surprises in store when you read!
So thank you all for sticking with me this long! I appreciate every one of you guys for reading, voting, submitting spouses, and most of all, for commenting! ;) Seriously though, even if you don't comment, I hope you enjoy this legacy, and thank you just for reading! It really makes my day to see that people enjoy what I'm writing. I hope you enjoyed this crazy family tree (because it took me SO long! I didn't think it'd take quite that much time, but it did!), and that you're excited for the next generation! I am in just as much suspense as you.... But I'm giving in, I'm going to try reinstalling. I'll get to it either tomorrow (not likely), Friday, or Saturday. Because I have a THREE DAY WEEKEND WOO! :D So yeah. We'll see how things go, and hopefully I will be able to release the first chapter of generation SEVEN! :O I can't believe it, honestly!
Mmkay, well, that's my spiel. Please do comment! I love to hear what you think! Thanks as ALWAYS for reading :) Happy simming!
