The Richmond Legacy: Generation 3, Chapter 5
Welcome back to the Richmond Legacy!
Now see, I haven't given up on posting... I just don't have a whole lot of time :( Ah well, it's the weekend, and a three-day one at that, so there might even be another chapter out Monday! We'll see.
So, there's lots to catch up on....and I mean LOTS! So let's get started.
Well first things first, Liza has accomplished her LTW!!! That's right - CEO is only level 8 of the business career, so it was a bit quicker than I'd thought!
I discovered the "tab" key for getting better close-up shots, and here's the first test. Looks good eh? I can't wait for some toddlers to really try this out! :D
Liza my dear, you sure look happy!
Liza: "Well duh! I am a CEO! I can retire now!"
Hah! Funny. See, you have a mega wish to reach level 10 in your career. So, not gonna happen, sorry. :P
Liza: "Hey sweetie, how was your day?"
Travis: "Fine Mom, why do you ask...?"
Liza: "Well, I have something to tell you about..."
Liza: "I got a promotion! I'm now the CEO of Doo Peas Corporate Towers!"
Travis: "That's great Mom!! You got your lifelong wish!"
You know Chase, I think your wife has some news for you....
Chase: "It'll have to wait, I'm busy painting another masterpiece with my sparkly paintbrush!"
Alrighty then, whatever you want, just don't blame me later..
Wow, the tab key really makes my pictures better doesn't it! I like this photo a lot.
Anyway.
Liza: "OUCH! You chucked that at my face!"
Travis: "You're supposed to CATCH it, Mom!"
Liza: "We can't all be fantastic athletes you know!"
Travis: "... Oops?"
Later, everyone gathered in the kitchen to celebrate their youngest family member's entry into her teenage years. I was glad to finally get things moving in the house again. This generation was drawing to a close, and I was ready.
Hope: "Hmm... I wish to be beautiful!"
I can guarantee it, love!
Hope: "Awesome! Bring it on!"
I've noticed that Sims with the Brave trait never look fearful during their sparkles, and Hope was no exception. She calmly waited out the aging process, ready to become the beautiful young woman she was promised to be.
You look ecstatic...
Hope: "My eyebrows are huge."
Patience, young grasshopper. There is a mirror in the next room just for you.
Seriously? You are blinking in the only picture I took of you? Usually I catch that and take another one... :/

TRAITS: Brave, Artistic, Clumsy, and now Hot-Headed. This will certainly be interesting :D
LTW: Master of the Arts. I don't remember choosing this for her, I think it was a glitch in the game when I installed World Adventures, but whatever.
And in other news, Liza has mastered gardening! Amazing, she started as a young adult and spent all her time in the garden, and mastered the skill before her death! Woot!
Tony shared an adorable first kiss with his sweetheart, Caroline Marvin. They are really very cute together :)
Amazingly it was already Bo's birthday. I can't believe how quickly these boys have grown up. They were all very close in age. Melanie was there to cheer on her grandson into adulthood!
Mel: "Woo! Go Bo!!!"
I see you got unstuck out of the floor... How nice for you.
Being rather cowardly and loserish, Bo wasn't exactly thrilled to be growing up. Don't worry dear, everyone has to go through this, and everyone lives through it too!
Bo: "Are you SURE??"
See? You're fine!
Bo: "My hair has gotten ridiculously out of hand!"

TRAITS: Clumsy, Artistic, Loser, Computer Whiz, and to top it all off, Unlucky! Wow, he really truly IS unlucky. Poor kitten :[
LTW: Master of the Arts
Oh, and I fixed my ghost problem! I just went into Buy Mode and turned "moveobjects on" and deleted Melanie's and Charlie's ghosts, and now they show up only at night, float around and don't wet themselves, and disappear in the morning! Now it's only Joey, whose ghost is roaming the town aimlessly, who's messed up.
Bo met a really lovely girl at school named Keisha Capps, and even though he had the feeling it was his "Unlucky Day," I made him invite her over. I was in a romance-y sort of mood.
She was still a highschooler so I had her blow out her candles.
A few hours later, Bo succeeded in wooing her and proposing! (He did drop the ring box before he finally managed to open it xD)
They were married quickly, before she could change her mind.
Bo: "You are so perfect, Keisha..."
She was in need of a major makeover, so I gave her one. I didn't think anyone should have to live with that ugly greenish color hair, so I dyed it... :P But she is very pretty. Her face reminds me of Melanie's simple beauty.
Traits: Flirty, Slob, Party Animal, Family Oriented, and Inappropriate.
LTW: To be Surrounded by Family. Hopefully this means my dear Bo will be a father! The household was too full to ensure a pregnancy though :\ They'll have to do that on their own.
Bo's wasn't the only afternoon for romance! Travis finally found the time to propose to lovely Lacey.
Needless to say she accepted!
I'll never get over this hug. Every time I watch it, it makes me smile.
And since you haven't had enough of this romance stuff quite yet, here's our Cole sharing his first kiss with Phoebe Marvin! Awwh :3
The very next morning Bo pulled out his phone and prepared to leave his home behind. He was ready to start a new life with Keisha, where maybe he'd be luckier.
Keisha was waiting for him in the car.
Keisha: "Took you long enough! I thought I was going to have to drive away without you."
Glad to know who's taking charge in this relationship ;D
Keisha: "You like the house I picked out?"
Bo: "I guess it'll do."
Now I'm sure Keisha has babies on her mind. I'm hopeful :]
Although it felt like absolutely no time had passed since Bo grew up, it was already the twins' birthday! Soon Hope would be the only teenager in the house.
What do you wish for Tony dear?
Tony: "Uhm I wish for this to be done with! Tell me when it's over!"
Okay it's over!
Tony: "Why do we ALL grow up with Dad's hairstyle?"
I don't know, but it bugs me too.
Next it was Cole's turn. Tony seems to have developed a strange glitch stemming from not having put his cake slice down. He seems to think he's tooting his horn, but actually.... well it's weird. :P
Cole: "WAIT! Someone tell Tony that he's not tooting that horn! Make him put his cake slice down!"
You're not DYING, you're just growing up. You can tell him yourself after the sparkles.
Cole: "Well look at that. I AM alive!"

Traits: Artistic, Heavy Sleeper, Evil, Vegetarian, and finally, Neurotic. Well, it certainly suits him, doesn't it.
LTW: Master of the Arts.
I still think it's interesting that of all the kids, the two that look the most distinctively different are the two that are twins. Like really, put their faces together, they look nothing alike:
Tony has a bigger nose, more slanted eyes, fuller lips, paler skin, a different-shaped head, and of course different hair!
Anyway moving on.
That very night Travis called up Lacey and they were married in a small ceremony in the front yard. No one in this family had ever liked to make a big fuss with their weddings, and these two were no exception. Lacey was just eager to join the family.
It was certainly a relief to see her with her old hairstyle back. Her traits are Flirty, Good Sense of Humor, Good, Daredevil, and Hot-Headed. Her LTW is to be Leader of the Free World (top of the political track). Perfect for my wonderful Trav! :D
Travis: "Lacey, I'm so glad we're married. You're one special woman, you know."
Lacey: "You are pretty darn amazing yourself."
Travis: "Want to have kids?"
Well then...
Lacey: "Yes!"
I guess he's her style then.
YAY! Chase has also accomplished his LTW! Maybe he and Liza will have to go on a retirement vacation soon...
Hope and Lacey were sharing a sisterly bonding moment when it was interrupted to confirm Lacey's pregnancy! Aww... :3
Tony: "I can't believe I'ma be an uncle! This is so exciting!"
Did you really just say "I'ma"?
Tony: "And?"
...Never mind.
I had started to get a little creeped out even at the idea of sleeping in the room that belonged to your dead grandparents, so I built a spare bedroom that Travis and Lacey will share until they move out.
Which reminds me, I haven't told you who the heir is yet!!!! :O
Well, I think you probably already know, but in case you're not sure...
It's....
It's Hope of course!!!
Seems like I tend to go for the youngest and/or the only one of their gender.
(Look at that Hope, I had to use your blinky picture TWICE in one chapter. How does that make you feel?)
Caroline wasn't quite aging up fast enough for my liking, so Tony called her up for her (forced) birthday party! Yaaay. (*sarcasm*)
Wow, she is so pretty! I love her eyes.
Lacey: "Do you think I can exercise this thing out of me? I'm tired of pregnancy."
Um... Sure. That'll work.
Lacey: "Really?"
No.
Liza: "Hehehe! I can get my formals wet in the sprinkler!"
You know you're really supposed to do that in a bathing suit...
Liza: "I'm old! Let me have my fun."
Travis: "Hey little sis. What'chya reading?"
Hope: "Oh hey Trav. Just some stupid book for school."
Travis: "I remember reading that. Something about mediocrity?"
Hope: "Yeah, it's pretty boring. What're you reading?"
Travis: "Totally Preggers: An Expecting Mother's Tale."
Hope: "Oh! So you finally found out about your wife being pregnant?"
Travis: "Uh, yeah, I'm a scientist, I can tell these sorts of things even without being told."
Hope: "Just checking."
Speaking of which...
Lacey: "Um... Either I just peed my pants or..."
Liza: "OR???"
Lacey: "Thundercats are GOOO!!"
Oh, I love Juno. Great movie. Go watch it.
Liza: "OH MY GOD! What do I dooo?!?!"
Travis: "You're asking ME? I didn't get to finish the book yet!!!! You've done this six times Mom! You must know what to do!"
Lacey: "You guys just gotta chillll..."
Travis: "Mmkay."
Liza: "Got it."
Lacey: "Uh, scratch that - GET ME TO A HOSPITAL!"
Sorry love. Richmonds do home births only.
Lacey: "Say WHAT!?"
Finally! Sparkles! And it's a..................
Wow I really can't tell!
Well, I kind of can. I just enjoy the suspense ;]
Why, it's a baby girl!!
This lovely darling is Libby Richmond, born with Virtuoso locked in, and she rolled Loves the Outdoors! Aww... :D
Chase was overjoyed to meet his first granddaughter the next morning.
Chase: "Why hello little love! I remember when your auntie Hope slept in this crib..."
Before they moved out, I wanted to see Libby as a toddler, so that morning Lacey took her daughter to the cake.
Oh I hope she's cute!!! I can't wait to see this baby!
Here she is!! Aww, what a honey. She got her dad's boring brown hair, which is kind of icky, BUT she inherited Lacey's dad's electric blue eyes which is awesome! And look at that little button nose :3
And LIZA IS A POWER BROKER!!! That's LEVEL 10 of the Business Career!! Wow!
Another interaction I can't get enough of is THIS. Toddlers make the sweeeeeeeeetest faces when their parents 'snuggle' them! I'm going to miss seeing this girl grow up :(
Travis: "Yes, hello, I'd like to order one family-sized house, sugar-free please. Thanks."
I'll miss you Travvie! :(
Travis: "I can't believe this is the last time I'll live in this house... My whole life is there."
Travis: "It's so.... modern."
Lacey: "According to the rules of 'kick out', it's got enough room for all of us, so we should be okay..."
Tony: "Caroline, you're the only girl I can ever love. Would you do me the honor of marrying me?"
Will all of my boys be married and gone by the end of this chapter? :[
Wow, I love this picture!!!!!
Caroline: "*Sigh*... I love him..."
Tony: "Hehehe... WooHoo..."
What a creepy picture! Good thing Tony's not actually just in it for the WooHoo... RIGHT?
Tony: "Uh... yes... right... yes ma'am!"

They quickly tied the knot with the customary private ceremony.
Caroline: "The way you hold that ring is so sexy..."
With a quickie hairdo and some makeup, Caroline looks even more stunning than she did before! Her traits are Insane, Inappropriate (why do they all have that?), Vegetarian, Bookworm, and Artistic. Her LTW is to be a Star News Anchor.
Caroline's cousins, Julia and Phoebe, had aged on their own, so when Caroline moved into the household, I brought Cole's girlfriend Phoebe with her. She looks a little tired... ;)
I actually really liked the outfit she was wearing, so I just changed the color of her shirt! And though I never thought I'd say it, I really like that hairstyle! On her at least.
Phoebe's traits are Brave, Athletic, Can't Stand Art (oh that'll be interesting...), and No Sense of Humor (see previous comment :\). For some reason she only has four traits. Her LTW is to be an International Super Spy.
