The Targaryen Legacy: Generation 1, Chapter 9
Welcome back to the Targaryen Legacy! This is a super-long chapter (like 121 pictures long) but it's the last one before our heir poll so I wanted to smush it all into one! It's totally going to be too long to post as one entry but I'm going to try anyway. I'm excited to put out the heir poll so I can continue playing, so let's get on with the show! You'll notice that this chapter involves camping! This is the first expansion-y thing for the Sims 4, not an expansion pack but a "game pack," which was half the price of an EP. I enjoyed it, personally! It has less features and additions than an expansion pack but more than a stuff pack. It was fun to play!

So yeah we're going camping!
Alysanne: Why aren't there mirrors or showers
Aemma: yeah how am I supposed to do my lipstick?
Nora: Ugh big sisters are the worst
Daemon: don't worry sis you can hang out with us, I'll teach you to fish!
Daenora: okay!
This is the campsite! The thing on the left is the bathrooms, they actually do have showers in them too. Then there are scattered picnic tables and campfires around, and a couple cabins. We could've rented a cabin but I kind of wanted to make them sleep in tents, ha
The trees in this new world are huge, it's awesome.
Nora: Dad I don't think you're doing this right
Drogo: just have to check Facebook one more time......
Stargazing (or cloudgazing during the day) is a new action and they all do it constantly
Aemma: Hello, madam park ranger! can you tell me why you chose this miserable profession as a reasonable way to spend your entire life?
Daemon: whoa harsh
Alysanne: I HATE bugs omg
The girls are being such divas
Drogo finally gets off his phone and goes for a hike
Drogo: why am I not running right now?
You're taking time to enjoy nature!
Drogo: this is dumb
Dany: Well personally I love camping, look at the fireflies, and the trees, and the home-grilled stew... ahhh.
Dany's used to living rough I suppose. Though you'd think Drogo would be too in that case
Dany: And my favorite part of camping..... FIRE
Dany: Yes hello my family probably needs someplace to sleep actually so could I get some tents?
Drogo: children why is Rhaego sitting all the way over there by himself?
Aemma: thinks he's too good for us, probably
Daemon: actually i think there just weren't any more seats here
I overdid it on how many tents we needed. But it looks so cute doesn't it??
Also over in the back is a horseshoe pit, which they love the shit out of
Dany and Drogo are excited about their new tent
Daemon: you guys, get a room, ew
Drogo: oh, we will, son
Aemma: Well this is awkward
Nora: What?
Daemon: nothing, kid, ignore that
Then I gave everyone a new outfit from the new clothes that came with the update! Here's cute lil Nora

The outdoor bed is a super cute idea
The sun rises over our little campsite!
That chipmunk is just... well... A for effort, maybe?
Rhaego: Why are you making me do this? :(
I want to explore the new stuff! Don't be a whiner
Rhaego: Yay. Plants. Big deal.
There is a new herbalism skill, where sims can collect herbs and make mixtures out of them like bug spray and things!
There are also some new meals (or at least I think they're new, I don't have much experience with grills in this game though)
Daemon: I hope everyone wants grilled fruit with a side of mosquitoes for breakfast... because these bugs will NOT leave me alone!
Alysanne: Wow Dae what did you put on these fruits? They taste amazing!
Daemon: Umm... it's uh... it's lemon pepper actually
Aemma: that sounds horrifying
Daemon: I know
Alysanne: well, I'll take your word for it because this is delicious!
Drogo: Now i've eaten bugs before and I just want you all to know that I know what they taste like.
Aemma: are you saying......?
Drogo: Yes.
Alysanne: WELP, i'm out
Another new thing is guitars! (finally) Aly, being quite musically inclined, was pumped to have a new thing to play with. (I can't really see her being a violin type of girl, can you?)
There's also a "bear" that wanders around the campsite, scaring people.
Rhaego: I will kill you if you ever do that to me again.
It's actually just a Sim in a bear costume.
Park Ranger: Ha ha, I'm Rhaego and I got scared by a silly bear costume!
Rhaego: That is rude!
Nora: Eugh Aly your playing is awful
Alysanne: this is my first day holding a guitar okay give me some slack
Nora: not when your lack of skill is assaulting my eardrums so horribly
Alysanne: I don't appreciate how sassy you are
Just Drogo and Aemma chatting with the bear while Daemon 'cloudgazes' at the bathrooms
A much cuter use of cloudgazing occurs back at the campsite
Dany: That one looks like a dragon!
Nora: no it doesn't mom jeez can't you talk about anything else
I think I just put this picture in because it looked pretty... I don't remember what I was going to say about it
Aemma goes mining for precious stones by the river
Aemma: I've decided to quit whining about camping... this is pretty cool. Don't tell Mom, though
She even got the outfit to match her change of heart :')
Daemon, our resident fisherman, has been in heaven this whole time, catching tons of fish and chatting with anybody who fishes with him. The water here is gorgeous too.
Daemon: Too bad the pretty brunette over there is an Adult and not a Teen :/
Our home for the week, it's just so cute!
Don't mistake how into it Aly looks for actual skill - she still sounds terrible haha
Daemon: OMG, you're a young adult too?! That's so cool
Mallory (I think): Yup.
She stargazed with him though so she couldn't have been THAT uninterested in him. She's cute!
Daemon: Hah, stupid park ranger, thinks he's good at fishing. I'll show him
Aemma: Yeah I know, parents who still like each other are so gross
Nora is making friends too, with possibly the only child on the whole campground
Man I wish you guys could have heard just how high-pitched his voice was
I think he may be out of the running for Nora's spouse purely because of it actually
They got along so well, though...
So well that I took a billion pictures of it apparently

Aemma: Guys why is Dad sitting with his back to us?
Daemon: Beats me
That night we finally have a family campfire (Daenerys is pumped) and Aly plays us some songs!
Nora: I'm only here because I have to be, but guys Alysanne sounds so horrible
Aly: shut up or I'll shank you
Drogo: *blows kiss* Hehe do you think the kids saw?! ;D
Dany: Aw honey you're so sweet
Rhaego: *gags*
Dany: What are you talking about, we're completely innocent
Drogo: I will rip throats out if I need to
Dany: Why would you need to do that honey?
Drogo: I don't know, I just haven't done it in awhile

Drogo: Hey honey...
Dany: You look ridiculous rn
Seriously these two are almost disgusting
Aemma: Well I wouldn't even say 'almost'...
Drogo: Maybe we should take this to the tent...
Dany: I can get behind that idea
Drogo: me too... if you know what I mean ;)
Aemma: STILL AWAKE, GUYS
Rhaego: Are baked potatoes a reasonable breakfast food?
I'm not sure it matters up here
Drogo: There's a bear behind me, isn't there
Aemma: Yup.
Drogo: Well shit
Daemon: Wow I can't believe I didn't find this fishing spot before! This is awesome!
It really is though *_*
Nora: Ooooh, what's in here??
Nora: Frogs :D
Rhaego: Fuck you, ladybugs, you have no business being the size of my foot
Drogo: all right, family, gather round!
I wanted them to sit at the fire, but they wouldn't :(
Drogo: I want to tell you a story around the campfire!
I suppose technically you're 'around' the campfire, as in 'near' it... :/
Drogo: ... and so that's how the pirates found the treasure! :D
Rhaego, Aemma, & Alysanne: This is super lame
Nora: Idk it's kind of cool
Dany: Don't we have five children?
Drogo: Pirate ships and flames and secret treasure yay
Dany: Oh that's right... Daemon. I wonder if he would've wanted to participate in this family activity
Rhaego: nah
For a family outing part 2, we went to the other section of this world, which is a gigantic park!
(nora's lil rainbow dress :3)
They have this cute little lodge area
And plenty of footpaths for exploring!
Daemon found a pretty girl who would play chess with him! (And she was also a teen!!)
Nora went fishing by the gorgeous waterfall
Nora: Dude, creepy old man in the yellow overalls, please leave
More campfires ensued, this time with roasting marshmallows!
Aemma: Aly you really are getting better at the guitar, it doesn't even hurt my ears anymore
Alysanne: Wow thanks so much -_-
Daemon: I heard from Nora about this great fishing spot... somehow the bear is ruining it a little.
I don't know, it's almost peaceful, in a really weird way. Bear and human, fishing side by side.
Drogo: Hey Alysanne honey you don't even sound bad anymore
Alysanne: Wow thanks dad
Rhaego: I still think she sounds terrible
Horseshoes continues to be incredibly popular
Rhaego: Frog-hunting is a little bit dumb

Rhaego: Okay bro I'm going to try this whole fishing thing
Daemon: Allow me to show you how it's done ;)
Daemon has done pretty much nothing but fishing this whole trip. He's very happy about it
Nora: You're pretty cool mom
Dany: You're not too bad yourself kiddo
Aemma: And if you look up there you can almost pretend that the bathroom fly swarm is not right beside us
Drogo: woooow beautiful!
Rhaego: I caught something!!! Oh... a log
Daemon; pshhhh amateur
Alysanne: there's no need to stare, I know I'm fabulous
Dany: I don't know why I'm exercising right now, I really don't want to :(
Drogo: Well I don't mind the view ;)
Park Ranger: Nyah nyah, I'm a little girl and I'm a LOSER
Nora: SAY THAT AGAIN TO MY FACE BITCH
For some reason the park rangers like to antagonize my sims
Aly: Nothing like good old fire-roasted hot dogs for breakfast. Or is it lunch?
Rhaego: and THEN the bear said 'I WILL EAT YOU AND EVERYONE YOU LOVE'
Nora: The bear TALKED?!
Rhaego: I swear, it did
Nora: That's terrifying!
Aemma: Oh joy I'm getting a phone call from my favorite boy
Daenerys: I swear I have no idea why this bitch puts up with that dick
Aemma: Those aren't nice words for your child and her boyfriend
Dany: If that is your boyfriend then I have failed miserably at raising you to have good expectations of men
I finally looked for the guy's name! It's Augustus. And their relationship title made me laugh. "Just Good Friends." Apparently they have no romantic connection at all because the bar is not full at all. He just rejects her every time she tries to initiate anything :(
Dany: I swear I'm going to kill that guy when we get home and make it look like an accident
Drogo: I can help!
I know this chapter has way too many of this type of photo, but it's just so cute when they all sit together! Aly playing and Rhaego showing constellations to Nora and Aemma roasting a cute lil marshmallow :3 (And Daemon is fishing I guarantee it)
Drogo: I am angry today!
Dany: I can see that dear
Drogo: It's just not FAIR. Why do we have to go home today!
Dany: I know sweetie it's hard isn't it
Drogo: And there were BUGS in my eyes this morning. BUGS!!!
Dany: That's awful Drogo dear
she's so patient
Drogo: I hope that wasn't sarcasm
Dany: Of course not dear
Drogo: I still can't tell
So Drogo did what he does best when he's irrationally pissed off
Where did these sandwiches come from?
Daenora: I'm not actually sure
Well good plan to eat them then
Nora: I thought so too!
Daemon: I'm just that good ;)
It's our last day at the campsite so of course I had to capitalize on cute family campfire time!
This time everyone was there!
... no wait Dae is still fishing
Nora: You're pretty tall
Rhaego: Well you're pretty short, squirt
Nora: I am like 12 to 15 years younger than you probably so
And then it was finally time to go home. I kind of missed their house actually!
Nora: I sure missed these!! :D
I added a nice shade tree to the backyard, and also put the firepit under it (we got to take all the campsite furniture home, yay!)
Daemon: Jeez dad it's like you don't even know how to play chess
Drogo: I don't know when you got cocky about literally everything son but I might just have to take you out on the weight machine or something and show you who's really the boss around here
Dany: Damn it feels good to be back at work. I love this dumb astronaut costume. Nora sweetheart did you know that you were born in space?
Nora: Really?!?!?!
Drogo: hahaha actually no
Dany: *evil eye*
Drogo: I mean yes, yep, definitely
Dany: On top of all that I am a bomb-ass cook!
Rhaego's friend from the campsite came to visit!
He was super happy to see her :)
Which is why they sat at separate computer desks to chat. obv
The girls skeptically watch TV
Nora: I kind of don't even know what TV is, I grew up really soon before we left for camping
You can tell Nora's got Drogo's brow too, I love it
Finally got them sitting together (well, sort of) and flirting!
Rhaego: I picked this for you in the wilds of the campground
Mallory(?): You did not, you bought this at a flower shop
Rhaego: Caught me
Guess she still liked it :)
Nora's trait is bookworm, by the way, can't remember if I said that. Anyway she thoroughly enjoyed the reading area in Drogo and Dany's mission control room.
Dany: I love that Daemon fishes so much, I can make dishes with it!

Drogo got a promotion! He finally chose his branch (I forget the names but basically, good guy or bad guy--he went good, of course)
The new suit is utterly fab
Dany: Oh baby that is a sexy suit
Rhaego: UGH GROSS GET A ROOM

And on that note, that is all I have left! I hope you enjoyed the camping, I know I took far more pictures than necessary but I was just having so much fun! And I hope you got a chance to get to know the kids a bit better, especially Nora who has had next to no screen time. All five kids are in the running for heir, so I hope you'll consider them all equally despite how much younger Daenora is! I am going to post the heir poll now and once it's up the link will be HERE.
