I know that She's Come Undone is the book that everyone loves but I just love IKTMIT so much more. I didn't like The Hour I First Believed very much but loved that the character was from Three Rivers and grew up with Dominic and Thomas from IKTMIT.
The Time Traveler's Wife by Audrey Niffenegger
When I worked at Winners a coworker told me about this book and it sounded interesting but not like something I would read. One day I was in a bookstore and I saw it and realized it was the book he was talking about and picked it up. It's not what I expected at all but I fell in love with it.
Funny - halfway through I decided that it should be a movie and decided to look it up and found out that the rights to have it made into a movie had been bought and it was already being produced.
I literally waited for that movie for about 5 years!
I have never anticipated a movie so hard.
(FTR I still think they got the casting all wrong.... )
