nope. my new years' resolution was, and i quote "to chill the eff out and enjoy the ride". i was way too anal for that to have come true.

in Prague, we should have stayed in an air conditioned hotel rather than a hostel...i really wished i shelled out the cash for that. however, i think we made it up to ourselves by splurging on the iced coffees and magnum bars. other than that, i wish i'd discovered more of the city, sat in more of the cafes, read more books...the usual...

umm, the only thing i can think of is drinking less of the monkey swill on that misbegotten night in September.

a tie between Zadie Smith's On Beauty and this other book called The Girls written by a Canadian author named Lori Something. it was about conjoined twins and it was excellent! Middlesex, the book i'm reading now, is turning out to be a top contender as well.
