ok, so you know how i've had some quasi-celebrity sightings while living here in toronto, what with mark mckinney stalking me and all, and then a few weeks ago when i saw fred armisen. well today i had my first MAJOR celebrity sighting, perhaps as MAJOR as it gets. it was so MAJOR that it made me feel funny in my tummy (and also my panties!)( ( Read more... )

Exciting!!!

Not as exciting, but my dad saw Sidney Crosby (the hockey player) at work yesterday. Apparently he (Crosby, not my dad) caused quite a stir amongst the young ladies!

Back when I made donuts and worked the overnight shift at a grocery store, I met Keanu Reeves, only I didn't really recognize him at first, so.. I kind of asked him to move. My actual words were "if you don't want to be covered in maple bars and bavarian cream donuts, I suggest you move!" and he said "oh, I'm sorry" and I stopped, peeked out from behind my donut cart, nearly peed my pants and then ran back into the bakery. He waited for me to come back out, and he shook my hand and said he appreciated my warning, and asked for a comment card.

..Sadly, we didn't have comment cards.

But that was back when he was still awesome, so it was way more of a big deal back then.

I agree that David Beckham needs to think about using some sun screen. Fine lines and wrinkles aren't cool- yo.

how hot would that have been if you DID pee your pants? and then you'd get to come out and shake his hand with wet pants? that wouldn't be embarassing at all ;)

i still think keanu reeves is a big deal, but this is coming from the girl who watched Speed three times in one day.

I used to meet all the awesome people who were driving up the west coast for whatever reason. The store I worked at was the only grocery store open 24 hours directly off the freeway pretty much from the middle of Oregon up to Seattle, So everyone stopped in at some point in time ( ... )

wow, you've had your share of sightings! i thought having mark mckinney as my stalker was a big deal, but seeing a famous person completely naked in the freezer section, well, that takes the cake.

I am pretty sure I would be totally starstruck if I saw David Beckham as well! Wow, living in Canada totally has its perks (but we already knew that).

David Beckham DOES have holy balls. not that i've been able to confirm that for myself, mind you, but it's a good guess.
