Aw. I thought it was sweet. I didn't expect it to come across as a mean vid. I do think John Connor is a douche much of the time, but that's not what this is about. This is just about how sad and lonely he is.

The original (or a serious cover) of "I'm So Lonely" would have been sweet.

The Team America version presents a character who can't even speak English properly, on top of his self-pitying narcissism. Maybe I just can't forget how "Team America" used that version of the song to ridicule the '*-hole', Kim Jong Il.

Your vid was masterfully done: well chose scenes and timing. I'm just disappointed that it leaves the viewer with a diminished perception of John Connor.

This is really really good! I could see it both funny and serious at the same time so I kept giggling and then trying to be serious the whole time. So spot on for John though :)

Aww, that was very sweet, despite what could be construed as a piss-takey song! I still think Dekker did a damn good job with John and - looking at that footage - I still wonder what the fuck wardrobe were thinking when they put them in those horrendous jogging suits in Goodbye... ;-)

The jogging suits bother you? LOL. I never gave those a second thought. I guess shorts and t-shirts would've made more sense.

When I eventually finish my angry John vid, this one will seem like rainbows and puppy dogs in comparison. That'll be a while, though. Sarah's up next - I'm 2/3 the way done with a vid about her :)

I wasn't sure how people would react to this because it is a silly song in its original context, but it's also sad and sweet. I meant it more as a genuine look at John, not a mocking look. Not sure if everyone's been getting that from it, though.
