Roxy! First of all: also hi! :)

How I have missed you. How did I lose track?!

Last night's Fringe (3x12) got both a Tweet and a TWoP* post out of me -- that's how much it pissed me off.

How do I admire you?

1) You noticed that the crack shot thing is a retcon of a retcon. Oy.

2) You noticed that Olivia got pushed to the side in S2. Man, I spent much of last year thinking I had a neuro-psycho-disorder (or something) because no one else would admit to noticing.

*sigh* After the beautiful high of the first half of this season, I am experiencing a serious and major crash. This Luv Triangle crap... killing me. Lovesick Olivia?! Blergh. First time(s) that we see Liv and Astrid have 'personal' talks and it's All.About.Peter? I'm speechless. Way to go anti-Bechdel there, Fringe writers!

Yes, I'm one of those crazy TWoP-posters screeching about this ep. However, I'm doing a good job avoiding the 'main character'/'this is high literature, you heathens!'lecture-bait. I'm proud of myself. :)

After I first posted this, I went over to TWoP and read the whole thread. I felt a sense of calm when I read your post, but it was rather amusing that a few posts after it was something like "Do some people actually think Olivia is the main character?" *headdesk*

So you didn't get into it with that poster? LOL. I almost jumped into the conversation, but I thought it would be weird for me to dive in and grumble when I haven't posted over there in ages. I probably should do more than lurk at TWoP, though. I haven't had some good message board interaction in a while and I miss it.

We're not crazy are we? Didn't this series start out as being about Olivia Dunham and the team she assembled? She was the main character! Season 2 is when >>Super!Peter<< first emerged and I've been intermittently disappointed ever since.

I think I found you on twitter. I hope that was you I just followed ;)

I'm with Intrepid on this one:

"I hate the whole “emotions can determine the universe” plotlines in any story"

It just offends my basic nature.

Having been sucked into Heroes, I'm glad I didn't get drawn into "Fringe". One mess of a show is enough.

It definitely weakens things when it all hinges on their relationship in such an overt way. bleh. Do better, Fringe. You probably don't have much time left!
