I am completely in love with this car ight now. If I didn't need a new roof on my house, I'm not sure I could resist. It's also good you can't buy one online in the middle of the night with a credit card. Then I'd really not be able to resist. Me shopping online late at night is like me grocery shopping when I'm hungry. It's dangerous ( Read more... )

mad crushes, food, want, late night shopping

What about the old car? ext_1263467 June 18 2012, 07:01:15 UTC
Hey! Why don't you compare "Old Reliable" to the new one? That would be interesting!

You mean the Datsun B210? hehe. I don't think there'd be much comparison since new Nissan Jukes have no dents or rust or squids painted on them. Too bad they don't offer the Juke in orange, though. That'd be fun.

Umm, I meant the CRV, but oh yea, I wish I could find a photo of the venerable Squidmobile. That was a ride oh yea!

Ah. Well, my CRV's awesomeness is why I'm not actually in the market for a new car. And despite my occasional new car temptations, I still love it. The 2012s are horrid though, so when I finally do get a new car, it's not going to be a Honda.

Oh Roxy, I don’t know how to tell you this, but, um, your taste in vehicles is…hmmm, oh I know, undeniably unique!

What about a good second hand Holden Commodore? Or as you Americans call them, a Pontiac G8.

If Sarah Connor drove a “car” instead of a 4WD she’d drive this!

eeew. That is so not my kind of car. Even if Sarah Connor drove one, I would not be tempted!

It looks cool ... I sort of like the way it's designed. The Movie I-robot with Will Smith came out when I was a Freshmen in High School and ever since I've always sort dreamed of owning a car that looked like the ones in the movies ... So I get the appeal.

But yeah Infatuation isn't love and if it might not be the best idea to impulse buy something of this magnitude.

Though I do look forward to the post when you sit in the drivers side of something and it's love.

And I hope it isn't a Pinto "Sarah Connor and Kyle Reese car."

My trusty old Honda CRV is still going strong and I drive so little anyway that it's going to be hard to justify a new car any time soon. Although just yesterday, I went to open the rear hatch of my car and the handle was loose (going to have to take the hatch door apart this weekend and fix that!). I could take it as a sign that it's time to get a new car, but I think I'll resist that interpretation... for now ;)

You had me at "Intelligent All-Wheel Drive (AWD)"

Don't know if I told you, but after having to wait for her desired color, Mrs. Tack recently bought a Hyundai Veloster. She really likes it.

Our joke in the family, is that Hyundai couldn't make the conventional ones fast enough, so they're adding a Turbo.

I don't know if this link will work, but she bought the blue.

The first one we saw was white, which I think makes the nose of the car more awesome, but I do like the blue.

What totally astounds me, is how a 6-ft former volleyball player gets in and out without smacking her head on the door opening. I guess she has more experience ducking under things ;-)
