I spent a hot 4 hours in the front yard of my sisters place raking, using the leaf blower, and scooping up piles of leaves. Hot sun beating down, gallons of water being drank, then quickly expelled from my pores. She has desert landscaping, and 2 trees from hell. They are year round leaf droppers, and tiny ones too. Bright Eyes concert was a total bust. There was no parking at the theatre when we got there, so we got diverted all over the place. We wound up parking in downtown Tempe, and were part of the many people that had to walk all the distance, across the Mill Ave. bridge. In flip flop sandals. My sister got engaged on Monday!!!!! In Santa Barbara! To her boyfriend of 5 years, and really neat guy Brandon Williams. It's so fucking cool! She's soooo stoked! It's a beautiful ring. 1.12 carat V2 rated princess cut diamond, in a platinum setting. It's so huge! lol No dates are set yet. They are finding a house in California first.

Last night I was informed that my good friend relishdress is now engaged. She's been thinking about this day all her life. So anyone that reads this head on over to her live journal account and flood her with good wishes.
