field hockey is unfortunately done with for my senior year. it's a really strange feeling. i mean, i have a lot of free time on my hands at the moment that will soon be consumed with work, but i already miss everyone and i would'nt have even seen them today. it sucks that we lost yesterday, but altogether we didn't play like we wanted it. oh well

i would like to mention that swimming is extremly ignored in our school and that at least 2 girls from swimming are going to states and thats 1 team right there... and on this rant i will stick up for xc too because they are also an idevidual sport whose going to staes, and even though they already get more recognition than swimming theres still people going to staes from there team too.

btw this doesnt mean i dont hope vb goes too cuz i really want them too!!!!! and i just really needed to get this out there

basically, sports that aren't individually-based in the post-season understand how the whole sectionals, regionals, states things work out for each other and we just don't get how xc and swimming function in these times. I would like to point how UNGRATEFUL some swimmers were today when they were asked to come down to the athletic office after HOMEROOM to pick up a nice flower and balloon to commemorate their efforts but many swimmers blew it off. we had to deliver those damn things. so, if swimming would like more recognition when they are being recognized by the only organization that matter in the school, GAA, they should be a bit more appreciative. this of course was not directed in anyway towards you lauren because i know you're a responsible girl and would've come to the office if asked :) and we all know who should've been in sectionals and that is you my dear :*

although, swimming should have gotten their flower and balloon when everyone else did, because it made it seem like they were forgotten, whatever the case may be.

swimming got their flower and balloon after they went to sectionals just like field hockey and volleyball got their flowers and balloons after they went to sectionals.
