soixante-quatre

Nothing like a little intergalactic warfare to spice up an afternoon, I suppose. A shame I was indisposed to join in - I assure you, though, ladies and gents, that I most certainly would have braved the battle alongside many of you.

It is just as someone before me said - the best in men is brought out during times of war.

You didn't miss too much. It was all quite dull.

Quite dull, hmn? An easy victory, I suppose, is hardly sporting.

Hardly. And the stains are very difficult to get out of clothes. Count yourself lucky, sir.

But, you see, I've the way to get such stains out. Sanguine only seems tricky.

Where should I start? It's been a while, Muraki-san.

A while, indeed. But I've not stopped keeping watch upon you.

I wonder what you know of this man. A former associate of his had a deal for me.

Ah, I must say I'm quite flattered. Wine, perhaps? We haven't done that in a long time.

Ah, Alexis Hargreaves? I don't know very much about him, but from what little I learned and gleaned from his son, he's a very dangerous man. Former associate? Aware of how that associate left his service?

This time I shall provide. Tell me, do you prefer a good fortified, or will a simple pinot grigio do the trick?

This former associate, a doctor by trade as well, must have been pulled out of the City of its own will.

This man will have to be watched. He seems interesting.
