Hunt signs a new contract

just after the transfer window closes we get this bit of news (from skysports.com)

Reading midfielder Stephen Hunt has agreed a new contract to stay at the Madejski Stadium until 2012.

The Republic of Ireland international was strongly linked with a move away from the Championship club during the transfer window.

i know, was gutted wehn i found out yesterday but had seen it coming for a while! hasnt even been on the bench, really lost fitness after his injury, which allowed Hunty to take over on left wing. convey tribute coming up later

I know very sad. Was such a key players in 05/06.

yea it will be a shame fans didnt get a chance o say thanks to him, but still cant wait for todays match, esp as there is no game next weekend now!
