Calleigh's day had been spent in the lab rather than the gun range, and time had passed quickly. When she'd returned to her room, she'd had the welcomed surprise of James' message waiting for her.

It hadn't taken her long to shower and change clothes before making her way toward his room. Once she arrived, Calliegh raised her hand to knock on James' door.

At the knock, Norrington swept to the door, ushering Calleigh inside. He'd missed her, over the week, and it had been quite some time since they'd had time to really and truly talk.

"Evening, my Calleigh," he said smiling deep enough to show dimples.

As always, seeing James brought a smile to her features, and the use of 'my Calleigh' deepened it further. "Good evening, James."

She glanced around the room and noticed the beautiful roses sitting on the table, then turned to him. "Thank you for inviting me. I missed you."
