I have been very absent, haven't I? I feel horrible for it. There are so many people I need to leave comments for, just to remind them that I'm breathing and caring, but the motivation just hasn't over whelmed me. I'll try to be better ( Read more... )

whale rider was great. it was the first movie I went & saw by myself, late one saturday, I really loved it.

I have three things I want to ask you:

1) Where is your main icon from?
2) I made some icons. Would you care to take a look at them and see if you would like to use any for your icon journal?
3) Do you have a larger picture of the Belle/Prince kiss that you use as an icon for your icon journal? And if so, could you give it to me?
4) I'm using your B&B forest icon, and everyone loves it, however I don't know how to credit you in keywords. Can you tell me?

Sorry it is taking me so long to respond. I'm just not very prompt like that. :-p

1) Where is your main icon from?
It is from Cinderella. I found the picture somewhere, but I have since forgotten where from (like most of the pictures I use for icons). It is from the scene where Cinderella doesn't think that she is going to go to the ball and she looks out the window and tries to make herself feel better by saying how dull it probably is. A second later the mice get her attention from behind with "Surprise! Surprise! Ha-happy birthday!" as they present her with the dress they made for her.

2) I made some icons. Would you care to take a look at them and see if you would like to use any for your icon journal?
I would love to take a privileged look at them but I'm afraid I only post icons that I have made on mermaid_wings. You are free to post any Disney icons that you have made on disney_icons. I'm sure you would get a great response. If that doesn't suit you, I recommend posting them in your own journal (there's nothing like giving your friends a little ( ... )

And you weren't late with a response at all. That was actually very quick in my opinion, seeing as sometimes I never respond to my comments (that is, if I get any).

Hi Natalie,
I just wanted to say that since your disney icons community has come to life, if you need any help moderating around there I'd be happy to give you a hand. I'm also willing to put the icon posts into memory sections divided by movie if you'd like (and if you don't have the time to do it.)

That would be great! I would really appreciate help and organizing the icons by movie would be great idea, but it also sounds like a big job. Anyway, I would love to have some help enforcing the rules since I hate that part of the job and some problems are so borderline that I want to give up. (Such as this post; does that qualify as a request? My sense of fairness says "yes," but I can't bring myself to scold the girl and delete the post.) I don't want to be too strict, but I don't want the community becoming a place of clutter either ( ... )
