I had a really good day yesterday. It was practically a second birthday for me.

First, I found my rings, which I mentioned in my previous post. That added an extra sparkle to my day.

Then Beth (jupiter_box) came over and I was able to talk and complain about some of the things that were bothering me. We were going to go out and search for new DVDs, but ( Read more... )

Oh good, I'm so glad it finally arrived! : )

It makes me happy to see you're so pleased with everything. It was my pleasure to put that all together for you and Beth. You two are the best : )

The rest of the day, I kept bugging Beth by telling her I had a prince with pink wings.

You're too cute. *hugs*

He looks extremely and overly gay in his pink and red shirt and yellow tights with pink wings

Is that a good or a bad thing?..
Just curious. I hope you didn't mean that in a derogatory way.

By the way, is it true that they changed the crocodiles on the special edition? (in the "I Just Can't Wait To Be King" scene). I saw some pictures on a message board (I'd link it but i lost the link), where they completely redrew the crocodiles to make them look less scary. They changed the birds, too. I was so angry. What's next, messing up Ursula in The Little Mermaid???

There are other meanings for the word. The doll was dressed in bright colors that were not flattering and a bit off. If you see that as derogatory, then maybe you need to stop assuming you know what is correct and what is incorrect.

Yes, I know about the redrawn scenes in The Lion King. It is a shame, but it seems no movie is safe for this type of management. Even the "original theatrical version" included on the Beauty and the Beast DVD escaped changes. If it makes you angry, add your voice and try to make a difference.

okay, okay, you don't need to get catty. A lot of people say it's "gay" for a male to wear colours like pink because those are supposedly "girl" colours. They mean that in a derogatory, gay-bashing way, and I wasn't sure if you did. It is hard to tell on-line.
