Today has been full of coincidences and bad feelings. My brother was intelligent enough to pick out the same tallis as I did, except in a different set of colors. His is in shades of blue, while mine contains a wider range of colors, most notably pink. When I saw it I thought I was going crazy because it looked so familiar until I realized why

What are tallis?

A tallis or tallit is the prayer shawl used traditionally used during services. I got one for my Bar Mitzvah, and my brother got a similar one for his Bar Mitzvah which is comming up soon.
