I know it sounds stupid to say it since it's still ENGLISH. . . .

But I'm learning British English. D|

FFFFFFFFFF. It's so much fun, but it hurts my head trying to keep it all straight. I'm watching a lot of British television these days to help me practice. orz

It's a dialect and while the basic grammatical structure is mainly the same, there's still a lot of different words.

Try Newfoundland English next. ^.~ Supposedly it's a dialect. I tell people that near as I can figure it (being half-fluent or so) it's modern English, mixed with middle English, using Irish Gaelic syntax.

The first time your adoptive grandma hands you your hairbrush coz she's been rooting in your bag and admonishes you to get da clits out, ya look a woodchild, it can be very confusing. O_o
