Jeez, Dagger, I knew you were doing something in here but man, this is going to take forever to clean up! [has a teasing smile regardless]

[Dagger jumps just a bit, turning around and putting her hands on her hips.] Zidane, you startled me.

[And now she looks around, and looks a little sheepish.] I... had a little trouble with the flour bag.

[grins as he leans closer a bit, gently swipes some of that batter of your adorable nose, and licks it] Mmm not bad~ ♥

Haha but I can help out, no problem. More importantly, did you really need that sugar? I can get some for you if you want.

[Now watch her nose twitch like a bunnies for a moment, but she looks pleased.] Oh good.

It's the only ingredient left. You don't mind?

Not really. I was thinking of maybe picking up a few things since we seem kind of low.

Is there anything else you want?

Mm, let me think. [She looks around.]

I think I used the last of the milk, so we might need more of that.

for sake of threading purposes, TIME SKIP. after maybe fifteen minutes he's back with his arms full of bags of things]

Man, it was harder to find some of this stuff. Those shelves really are bare.

[sets the bags on the floor since the counters are all, uh, battered up and pulls out the sugar and milk] Is this what you needed?

[Oh you, so cute. Dagger has set the batter someplace cool so it won't go funky, and was waiting for him. She also took some time to clean herself up... but there's stills tray flour in her hair.]

Yes, that should be perfect. [She gathers the sugar and milk up to use.]

What do you think caused there to be so little food?

[now leaning against a clean part of the counter next to her]

I have no idea, it's weird. I can't think of any time this has happened before. I talked to a few people and they said it was strange, too.

Maybe it's an after effect from that weird jungle craze earlier.

[She goes back to mixing the rest of that batter and adding the sugar.]

I suppose that's the only explanation right now...

Will things go back to normal?

I hope so. Things aren't completely bare, but at this rate we might have to start making our own food.
