I-I'll have you know that all this timeline mindfuck has made me been re-playing and re-researching all of Zeldadom to determine how long after OoT Twilight Princess would be. I feel the need to note that because of this you both suck and are awesome, because it's kinda a fun way to pass time

[Wow, that's a lot. ♥ I remember when I played Midna in another place, there was a Link there, and he had assumed that the Link in OoT was from a time way before his own, and he was "honored to meet him". Midna's sort of going off of that right now and thinking that Ruto's Rutela's great great great great great great great great great great great grandma or something.]

Well that OoT is before any other Zelda game is pretty much canonized fact, because of the fact that OoT is the Imprisoning War mentioned the first few Zelda games. The only thing before it would be the Hylian Civil/Unification War, which has no game and is only vaguely referenced in a whole lot of different titles And I believe is where the Twilight Realm was made and the Twili came to be, as it's implied that it was fought over the Triforce before the King of Hyrule in OoT unified the various tribes under one banner, it seems possible that the dark interlopers which would become the Twili were beat up then Which would've happened either when Ruto was a very young girl or before she was born.
