that's a very moving story -- some people's courage in the face of serious illness is remarkable. i guess we all need to remember that the simple joy of tasting an orange isn't something we should take for granted.

thanks vix. i was so impressed with this guy's spirit. he helped me to keep my perspective on the world of medicine and life in general. that's why i took the time to write about him.

i had an MD appt today! i like my doctor.

i am screwed if i ever come down with a big illness. i can't swallow pills larger than claritin. not sure how much fight i will be able to put up.

he sounds nice. not bitter...sounds like he was patiently explaining and not complaining. have you had other cancer patients before? is that normal?

how did you get access to these insects and their interesting settings?

i'm glad that you like your doctor. the relationship you have with your physician is very special and i feel that it is important that you find someone who you connect with and feel comfortable with. not every doctor is a good match for every patient ( ... )
