I am glad everyone had a blast. Eventually I'll make it to a con with Peter. I've never been to Atlantic City, so that in itself would be a nice visit. Sounds wonderful to me anyway. Road trip!!!! Let's go. :-)
I can appreciate this. It sort of boggled my mind a little bit when I first saw them there, while we were on our way to get some food. Cats and sand? It just didn't seem right to me, but as I watched them and their interactions with the nice people feeding and caring for them, it made sense. That's one of the weirdest things that i've ever seen, but somehow, in Atlantic City, at a Rocky Horror convention, it fit perfectly. And i've always been a fan of the ocean at night. It's so calming.
It was a really good time, and I hope that any other cons that I go to can reach that level of excellence.
Glad to hear you had funhljeterOctober 1 2008, 22:34:28 UTC
Me being a typical geek I have done many gaming conventions. I went to Atlanta to play D&D for 3 days straight. I have been to a few places including GenCon and played in RI, Mass, NJ, and Maryland. To be around hundreds and some cases thousands of people who have similiar interests as you is always great. Once I got to hang out with this hottie who worked as special effects artists on the bulk of the Friday 13th movies. That was real cool! Now on the "Rocky" end it has to be so much better. Glad you had fun!
wow, just to be able to go to the beach alone and in the dark is seriously on my favorite things to do list. I love cats too. I really hate that i did not go to Atlantic City to see you all perform, and from what i have heard RKO was on the top of lil nells and Pat Quinns list. i know exactly what u mean when ur talking about Shock Treatment.
