Bicycle fine

Am I the only f-g moron who stopped, and then actually paid the fine of thirty (30) pounds sterling for cycling on the pavement?
I fear so.

Admittedly, I was so tired and fed up and stunned by the idiocy of the fine that I simply did not want to lie, argue or else.
