tl;dr Doctor Who rambles while watching the Confidential episode for The Almost People
Between school and Doctor Who I really doubt my brain is going to be working after this year, I really really do.
So Doctor Who is one episode away from it's break between the first and second half for the current series. And The Almost People... well it pretty much broke my brain. I mean this is supposed to be in a sense a kid's show. So can someone please explain to me how the hell Amnesia: The Dark Descent essentially ended up in the episode? Though it's not as creepy but still. And so far out of the six aired episodes four of them have ended with me almost screaming at the screen (two of them actually did, though both those times I livestreamed it and it being 4am in the morning when the episode finished really had me being tired so I blame that). Otherwise I'm loving this series. The Doctor's Wife is one of my all time favourite episodes now. The rest of the episodes are pretty much mind screwing. And when this all makes sense in the end, I'm pretty sure I'll love it.
Every episode goes for 45 minutes right? Well I like to think the episode are some kind of time... paradox(?) thing (not really thinking of the word, the Confidential episode is being interesting right now) and the episodes really go for like 10 minutes but 'cause we're watching Doctor Who is just transports you to the end of the 45 minute time slot to mess with us. Seriously the episodes feel super short. So much happens but not much at the same time. (Ahaha Confidential just referenced Alice in Wonderland illustrations) And that broke my mind though track.
Umm, I also find it really cool that after Series 5 were lots of people complained about no real references to the previous Series/Seasons that Series 6 has been making all these references to not just the previous Series 1-5 but also the the original Seasons. So basically all these references to Old!Doctor Who. The numbering system since the reboot in 2005 for each season is titled Series while all the old stuff from the beginning of the entire show were numbered by Season. Just felt the need to explain that.
I'm waiting for the Ganger!Doctor to come back, 'cause I really don't believe we're finished with him. I also don't think we're finished with The Silence. (Confidential has awesome music btw) And if IMDB isn't lying, Jenny is back too. Which is awesome. I don't really trust the IMDB records for episode 13 right now. There's too much in it, though then again it's the finale. Those are always crazy.
And the Confidential episode is now finished, I have barely any idea what I've written and I shall now panic about school again like I do every other Saturday at this time.
