3 MEN GO INTO A MOTEL. THE MAN BEHIND THE DESK SAID THE ROOM IS $30, SO
EACH MAN PAID $10 AND WENT TO THE ROOM.

A WHILE LATER THE MAN BEHIND THE DESK REALIZED THE ROOM WAS ONLY $25, SO

THIS MEANT THAT THE 3 MEN EACH PAID $9 FOR THE ROOM, WHICH IS A TOTAL OF
$27, ADD THE $2 THAT THE BELLBOY KEPT = $29.

There is no missing dollar. The room cost 25.

A+B+C=total room cost

A= 10 B =10 C=10

subtract one from each you have

27. But the room costs 25

Subtract -2 the bellboy has to have 25

Or think about it this way: If the total they had paid was 27, why would you add the bellboys $2 and not the $3 the men got back?

I kinda came up with the same "there was no missing dollar" answer but I wasn't sure.

This is what I get for reading chain letters. -.-;
